My family and I went to this afternoon tea shop in Pasadena for my sister's birthday. My dad and I felt a little weird since we were the only men in the room, but later we saw another man come from the back of the shop, so we didn't feel so bad (there was also a male employee working there). We each had the English tea, which was $12.95 and included a tea of your choice, 4 pieces of a finger sandwich, a scone, fruits, and a cookie. The sandwiches were good, but were really small. The scone was a nice healthy size though, and it was perfect served with Devonshire cream and raspberry preserves (we nearly finished our jar!). I didn't think I would be full from it, but I actually was. Overall, it was a nice, fun experience and I got to try something new and different.
