Brouwer's easily has the best beer selection of any bar in the city. They have more beers on tap than most have total, with hundreds of bottles available on top of that. Prices are actually lower than a lot of places charge for premium imported beers. The beer selection alone would be enough to get me there for a drink, but the food is also impressively good. It's not up to the quality of a food-first gastropub like Quinn's or Smith, but it's tasty, well-executed and not too pricey. The place is big, but it does fill up pretty early most nights. Service is admittedly very uneven, and the bouncers take themselves laughably too seriously, but those are both small bumps in the road to a consistently wonderful experience.
