The encore cafe has a number of ties to the community of Bloomington, and offers services like a co-op discount to those who often shop at Bloomingfoods. However, I tend to think of this restaraunt as a glorified cafeteria, as trays and standing in line are a part of the experience in eating at this cafe. The food is average, but normally a bit of a change from the norm, which is nice. The restaraunt heavily caters to vegans and vegetarians, making it a good choice for a vegan looking for something new.
