I used Dr. Dy for Gastric Bypass several years ago, while he is a good doctor and I had no complications once so ever, thanks to his skill.
His billing department is kinda sketchy (just know for sure what your insurance is paying and not paying so you don't over pay).I paid 5,000 out of pocket, and only questioned it because then I got pregnant and called to check on my deductable and the insurance company advised I should have only paid liked 1500.
Plus he was very pushy about only eating one meal a day (which the nutrionists said not to do, to eat several small meals.) ALthough I lost 100lbs in 6 months he didn't seem happy with those results, and thought I should be exercising more, even though I explained that i had broken bones in my legs which was why I didn't exercise as much as he wanted me to.
