Park Slope has several good food shopping options so I don't know why this place stays in business. It is by far the most expensive market in Brooklyn, but certainly not because they have better quality items than other stores. While they have an average selection of grocery items (canned and boxed goods), their fresh selection is really mediocre. I've seen a lot of over-ripe and spoiled fruit there, and no one seems to care. Go over to Key Food; the managers there (especially at the 5th Avenue store) seem to care much more about what they sell.
