The MSU Dairy Store carries a huge variety of ice creams made on-site. My personal favorite is the strawberry cheesecake with pumpkin a close second. They switch out choices on a regular basis and have some perennial favorites. There is a quite large space inside the dairy store to enjoy your ice cream. Upgrading to the freshly made waffle cones is relatively inexpensive and a wonderful choice to make.
The dairy store also sells ice cream in cartons (quite impressive to show up at someone's home with) and cheese. The chocolate cheese is more like fudge with hunks of cheese in it (not really my thing). The dagano cheese (baby swiss) is to die for. I took it to a wine night one time and they went crazy for it.
