Though HST doesn't have the "feel good factor" of contributing to the scholarship fund that the NCSU bookstore has, their prices on used books are consistently cheaper than any other place in town - one year they saved me more than $30 over used at the on-campus bookstores! The store is large and well-organized and the people are very helpful. The buy back rates are also pretty good. One thing I really like about HST is that they take the time to get "used, new from the publisher" books. Last semester I bought several books that were brand new - at the USED price, including a book that had been published just a month before! Apparently, they can make arrangements like that with the publisher, and it's a great deal.
