The Sanford museum offers a fun place for children to learn about the different animals in Florida and have a hands on experience. It is a self guided trip around the museum which is inside and then you can go on a short walk and even enjoy a picnic lunch if you desire. I do find them a little expensive for the length of the visit but something worth while doing at least once.
