Luckily, my husband's mother worked for the US Post Office her entire career. This made us eligible to have accounts at Evergreen Postal Credit Union as well. Unlike big, faceless banks, they know our name when we walk in to do business. They recently made a mistake where they accidentally credited our account with funds that were not ours. At US Bank (where I used to bank) something like this took hours to straighten out. At Evergreen, it took one phone call and was handled in a few minutes. I love banking with them.
