By far the "fanciest" restaurant in the town of Gettysburg, the Dobbin House boasts the best food around. The waitstaff is dressed in colonial period garb (not Civil War, surprisingly), and you are seated in various rooms of a c. 1776 stone house (my favorite room is the Library). Every meal comes with a choice of a baked potato or a baked sweet potato--which is think is great because most people I know don't eat enough sweet potatoes... For those who want a more casual dining experience, the Springhouse Tavern is in the basement, where you can get sandwiches, soups and other light fare. There is a bar in the tavern.
