The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey makes it relatively painless to get to and park at the pier where cruise ships dock. I recently traveled here and needed to park for 10 days. The price was a month for $180, which was cheaper than paying 10 daily fees. The parking lot is secure. The pier and port itself was easy to navigate and well marked with directions. The terminal workers helped with questions. The port is well kept.
