EXTORTION IS THEIR GAME 4/11/2011

Your concept of "Real reviews, from real people" is golden but lets be honest...you're a little clickish...a little rude...a little selective...a big contradiction. WHAT! No one has ever told you this? Think Apple's fan boys. Yup, like that. The little subculture inside of yelp, The Elites, serves the perfect example. Yelp defines Elite as, "You know it when you see it". Really! A site that dedicates its services on expressing appearances, experiences, and emotions is contempt with such a vague definition. Yelp not only do you exist in vagueness but also promote ugly politics. Why would you want to create a virtual culture of the Haves and Have-nots? Elites are offered limited apparel, Elites have dedicated events, Elites are even marked -the true sign of blue blood. Blow-me. Are Elites supposed to drive friendly competition? Should their reviews carry more weight? Wait! Wait! I'll know it when I see it. Right? Since this review will put me on Yelp's official shit list. Let me ask all the questions Yelp will ignore. Question one, Why would Yelp turn down Google's offer for a buy out? What could a global phenomena and an unlimited supply of cash flow bring to Yelp (still talking about Google)? Lets wait and see what happens with that little company Groupon and the implementation of NFC's. Question two, why is the Android phone application so far behind in development than the Iphone app? Last time I checked Android is no chump in the mobile industry. Question three, why is profanity only allowed with some reviews but pulled from other? Question four, why do you filter reviews and give no clear explanation? I should be allowed to view all the reviews and filter at my own discretion. Yelp please feel free to contact me. more
