If you're going "over the hill" to the San Mateo County coast, stop at Norm's Market (Archangeli Grocery) for their famous artichoke-garlic bread. It is incredible. They have an excellent selection of cheeses also. You can get sandwiches there, but all the cyclists know about this place (it has one of the few places you can legally pee on the Coast) and the lines are long. Get your sandwiches from Cindy next door at Muzzi's. She runs the deli at Norm's too.
