This mansion is so interesting and beautiful inside. I was not sure what to expect, but thoroughly enjoyed the tour and reading about the family. It's a lovely place to spend an afternoon or day. The grounds would make for a perfect picnic location, and the gift shop has some truly unique products. It is on busy Route 4, but once you get to the house, you don't even know there is a busy road nearby.
