My Santa Fe was in for service on a warranty issue. Upon picking it up we were informed that it was due for it's "30,000 mile service". We received an extended services package when we purchased the car new. It covered oil changes, tire rotations and the like. They made it out like this service was covered by it as well. At no time did either person we spoke with give us a price for the service. When we went to pick it up after it was supposedly serviced they informed us that we owed them $574. When we objected they claimed that their services were already discounted as low as they could go so there was nothing they could do about the price. I'm sure they have them priced so low out of the goodness of their hearts. They lied to my face when both employees claimed they definitely quoted us a price for this service.
These people are exactly the reason that the auto industry has a bad name and no one trusts anyone in the industry. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT. The service manager and his employees are LIARS and CROOKS.
