Summer Strings is usually held at the Poughkeepsie Day School in the summer. I used to come here evrey summer, and loved it every time! There is an orchestral portion and a fiddle portion, which are both loads of fun. The week ends with 2 concerts on thursday and friday. Also, there is Jeopardy, where string players compete in rhythm counting and music vocab competitions. summer strings is a great summer camp for younger string players, and I reccomend it
