Jacobs Field is a modern update to the traditional baseball park. It has been the home of the Cleveland Indians since 1994 and has all the classic features of the early 20th century parks. It has bigger female bathrooms, so women don't have to wait as long as in some parks. The sidelines have excellent views and even the outfield has great views of the action.
You can see downtown Cleveland from the stadium and it is especially nice in the evening. The last time I was at the stadium, near July 4th, the show had fireworks. I can honestly say that these were the most remarkable fireworks I have seen! The show beat Paris, France and any of the Disney parks. It was quite amazing!
Parking can be free, if you park on the downtown streets on the weekend or for evening games. It is a long hike, but a nice walk.
The stadium also offers a wonderful choice of beers. Other stadiums could learn a lot from taking their clues from "The Jake!"
