Located in Shorewood (just west of Joliet) Louie's Chophouse is one of kind in the area. Their menu boasts of a vast selection of steaks, lamb chops as well as pork chops, and a huge selection of chicken and pasta. There is a great selection of seafood, including three "surf and turf" selections. I haven't had the pasta, but it looked wonderful across the table! My personal favorite is the Chicken Mediterranean - well seasoned with great potatoes. Several of the steaks come in different sizes, but are always cooked perfectly and just as ordered. Start with an appetizer from their vast list! I was too full to try dessert! A great dining experience in a beautifully decorated restaurant.
