The builder Gold Crest Homes have an older Florida look to them. Everyone thinks Florida is the cement or concrete block home. Gold Crest makes a stick built with the front porch look which is closer to the cracker home than what you see in modern Florida.
The new features of Gold Crest are high tech water heaters and air units. This is a bonus if you want energy efficient because we use more A/C than heating. But don't let the sales people fool you, we do get an occasional hard freeze here in Citrus County. Good for Gold Crest to be thinking of the future.
