It seems like the Bar-B-Que Pork is smoked forever at the Brick Pit, it's so tender. The premises are unassuming, just down the road from the University of South Alabama. But, you don't have to be concerned about being overwhelmed by college students. Locals and students alike hang out here and they do a brisk, but not overwhelming business. You can enjoy your meal and relax. The pulled pork is so tender and tasty you'll be hooked for like as many Mobileians are. Be sure and try some of their other plates and the sides. It's not much on decor, but for good eating, it's hard to beat the Brick Pit. more
