The Coyote Cafe is a family business, boasting grandma's recipes. And they certainly have a right to boast.
You can sit at the bar and wait for your table in an atmosphere that is comfortable for all adults. You might not want to take children in the main bar in the back. But, as long as you have to wait, try one of their most excellent margaritas.
The service is prompt, polite and friendly. It doesn't take more than a couple trips before you're a regular and treated like family. Everything on the menu is good, so you can't go wrong no matter what you order. Not every restaurant can boast that. Be forewarned though, that some family recipes like the chili rellenos are prepared a little differently than in other Mexican restaurants.
You can certainly have a howling good time going out to eat at the Coyote Cafe. If parking becomes a challenge, just go across the street to the spacious municipal lot.
