At first blush, Scully's Restaurant looks to be a promising, somewhat upscale family restaurant. We ate there looking for a change of pace.
It was a disappointing evening. The food was mediocre. Iceberg lettuce is the exception these days rather than the rule at restaurants aspiring to be distinctive. Not here. The lackluster salad was followed by an OK, but not outstanding and certainly not memorable meal.
Pass this one by unless you can't find anything else open, or aren't particular about the taste of your food. Golden Corral is a better value.
The prices are quite high for what you get. The only plus is that the owners are friendly and will wait on you, or stop by to see how you're doing.
