I longed for a kid friendly, down to earth Japanese restaurant in Wallingford since the birth of my son. Musashi used to be my choice for a number of years , but the limited space and slow service make it a less than desirable place to take my 2 year old with me. The answer to my wish is Kozue (formerly known as Ai). New management expanded the menu items to a great length compared to what Ai had offered in the past. Regular Lunch / Dinner combo is a good deal and planty to share with your toddler. Udon is hearty and sushi is good. Kids get their own plastic utensil and especially chopstiks that are bound together with rubber band which can be loads of fun for those who are just learning to use chopsticks.
