Ashley's has been in the New Haven are for many years - once you walk in the parlor, you are assaulted with the sheer number of "Best of..." plaques they have on the walls! Regardless, their ice cream is made in-house and they have a variety of flavours that seems to rotate almost daily. They also have a wide variety of toppings and serving methods (cones, bowls, etc.). The ice cream is very good, portions are standard (pretty much), but the prices are a bit on the high side for ice cream.
