Threadgill's is a fun place to take out of towners (espicially if they've heard of it).
You can check their website to see who's playing. The food is good (though blander than I remembered it....). The vegetables used to be "bottomless" (all you can eat) - now they'll serve you seconds only (which should be plenty anyway). They've always had lots of vegetable dishes and now they have the vegetarian menu seperated into vegetarian selections and non-dairy selections as well, which is really nice if you have vegie types in the group - they don't have to feel silly grilling the waiter about what's in the green beans.
