This is a huge park which is perfect for sunny outdoor days
The lake is beautiful and you can enjoy boating there. You can either use your own boat and pay a small fee or rent a boat.
Parking is not a problem except on holidays.
Kids have a great time hete because there are many play areas with play structures and swings etc.
It has 4 group picnic sites that can be reserved and lots of picnic grills and benches that are "first come first serve" It also has great walking trails
There are a Senior center and communicty center that can be rented for special occasions. The library is walking distance, so borrow a book and read outdoors.
I just had a bday party there. You need permit for music and party of more than 25 people. But that’s easy.
