The Wild Onion has a great location, that's for sure. Located right in the middle of fun Grand Avenue, they draw a crowd of locals & college students every night of the week.
The food is good - but not outstanding. It's bar food, with a restaurant twist. The pastrami is pretty decent, though the mustard was lacking.
The beer is cold, and there's always drinks specials. The music is loud, even if it is Pop 20.
All in all the Wild Onion is a fun place to visit if you just need somewhere moderatly priced to eat on Grand.
