Lark Creek

Good food and ambiance. Expensive. 9/14/2006

We went during the month they were promoting chocolates. Ordered the quail appetizer from their special chocolate menu. The quail was delicious and tender. So were the fig sections and greens that came with it. For entree, we had the Ahi tuna and Mustard-glazed pork chop. They were pretty good too. We expected the heirloom tomatoes to taste great but somehow the tomatoes didn't taste any different from the regular store bought ones. We ordered the chocolate cupcake with vanilla ice cream for the 3-year-old. She ate the whole thing up without help. Off the special menu, we ordered the Chocolate ganache (made with Scharffen Berger chocolates) with Grand Marnier sauce. What can I say? If you love chocolate, you'll definitely love this. more
