We purchased a mesquite tree from Moon Valley about 3 years ago, and it has been growing very well. I was very pleased with their delivery and digging service, and I think that the price was very good. My only complaint is that the salesman sold us a tree with a split trunk (i.e. there are 3 “branches” of the trunk, as opposed to the traditional one trunk), telling us that it would fare better and ultimately look better. Honestly, I think they don’t sell as well, so he was trying to get rid of it, and unfortunately the tree has started to lean (one of the branches/trunks is pulling it down). I think if you have some tree knowledge, and you know what you want (and you can stand up to salesmen!) this is a decent place to shop.
