Most of my movie-going experiences at Tempe Cinemas have been great. Always looking for a deal--I love getting the big-screen experience for only $2. Tuesdays are discounted to $1.25! They have a nice and simple, user-friendly website, and you can print off a coupon for a free popcorn.
My one recommendation: if you sit in the back, just make sure you won't get the light streaming in on you from the lobby whenever the door opens.
