We really enjoy the flavors at the Chile Pepper in Wallingford. The chile rellenos are insanely great. I can't say any more because I'd have to go out and order a plate if I thought any more about it.
The mole poblano is piquant, bitter and nutty. It's complex, maybe even an acquired taste, but it's wonderful.
The restaurant is family run and laid back - don't expect attentive service and don't ask too many questions. The owner is nice when they get to know you. They have one old high chair and no boosters.
