The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a must-see for any resident or visitor to New York. The French Impressionist exhibit is my favorite, although there are many exhibits that I love to visit as well as temporary exhibits that rotate through. It is a lot of fun to see the Egyptian exhibit and to visit the Temple of Dendor. The gift shop is two floors and has lots of posters and art gifts, stationary, toys, and games.
