I must say, I was very impressed with the Lauritzen Gardens. The buildings are well constructed and the landscape is very well done. The main building also houses a gift shop and small cafeteria. My one complaint about this place, however is that it open year round yet most of it is outdoors. I went with my family in April when it was very cold and not much was in bloom. Since only a few exhibits are actually indoors, it was disappointing.
