The Venetian is amazing. The interior is breathtaking and definitely worth checking out. Have a gondolier row you around & sing to you in the indoor gondolas. Enjoy some good shopping. But stay at a different hotel.
It's as nice as all of the other mammoth hotels on the strip, but it's also FILLED with people at all hours. Plus, the layout forces you to go through the casino to get upstairs to your room.
Once you get past the sea of people, the rooms are well-appointed and a very nice size. They're all suites, with a sitting area, nice beds and a large bathroom. Room service is $$$$$, as are the room rates.
There are numerous places to have dinner, and it's centrally located on the strip. Still, there are better places to stay while visiting Las Vegas.
