I was in Home Depot recently to get some ideas on the price of kitchen cabinets. There was one employee sitting at a desk when I entered, so I browsed around awhile. A short while later, another employee came in, saw me, then began helping another customer who came after me. The employee at the desk then came over and said, "Are you just browsing?" I told her, "No, I needed some help with the cabinets." To which the employee replied, "Darn, I was afraid you were going to say that!" She then tried to answer a few of my questions, but said she didn't really know anything about them. So, she went and told the other employee I needed help. She then returned and told me the other employee would be right with me. After helping another customer that came into the department the employee finally came over to me and said, "What do you need?" I explained that I was looking for cabinets, and showed her which ones I was thinking about. I also gave her the dimensions of the kitchen and asked her if she could give me an idea how much it would be. She replied by giving me a piece of graph paper, and told me to go home, measure my kitchen, and figure it out for myself. I don't plan on returning to this store to buy any cabinets.
