This community college is very small. Parking is a joke. There are two parking lots for students. One is overly crowded during mornings and afternoons. You have to compete for a good park there. Should you choose to park in the other, which is not nearly as crowded, you'll find yourself forced to walk up a very steep hill to reach classes. This of course probably explains why most students compete for parks in the crowded lot. The teachers here run the gamut. Some are really passionate about teaching. They exude a love for sharing knowlege. Others seem to not really care and are primarily concerned with simply getting their paycheck. The History, English, and Art departments are commendable. The math department leaves a lot to be desired. The school does not have a cafeteria. Instead, there are vending machines located in the breezeway. The student lounge is nothing spectacular. In fact, it's rather lackluster and unwelcoming when compared to other schools. The president of the college is wonderful. She really wants to see each student succeed. One of the deans is very honorable and wants success for every student too. The other dean is more concerned with his own career advancement and paycheck and is generally of no good use for students. The college has a math & science club, a club for returning adults, a student government association, and a honors society. The school does not have a newspaper. more
