Me and my husband went to Newport in Aug of 2002. We went on this tour called the Discover Tour. It was a tour that lasted 2 hours. 1 hour in the ocean and 1 hour in the harbor area. We did go out to the ocean and that was fun and freaky but it got to foggy so we turned back around. The rest of the tour was great. Next time we go we are definitely trying the Oregon Rocket. It's the inflatable boat that takes you in the ocean and I think harbor but on a speed boat kind of thing. Here is their website
