Goldsboro Peds is convenient for most parents for things like well child checkups and minor illnesses, but I don't know how I feel about taking my child there for anything more serious. They usually just do a referral to a specialist or the hospital anyway. All of the doctors I've seen there have been really nice and helpful, but I feel like they're overworked. They just don't spend a lot of time with the children (not as much as I think they should), and don't really ask any questions outside of the basics. There's not really any psychological screenings or anything like that, and I feel like that's important for children. The parent really has to bring up everything with them.
