Firstly, this University is very hard to get into, so if you get into it, i suggest you stay in. University of California - Berkeley, or CAL is one of the oldest UC's around, if not the eldest. It has almost every major available to you. It also provides dorms to freshmens and it has many appartments around for the upperclassmen. Even though there might be homeless people around at times, you forget about it because of all the historical buildings to look at. If you want a good college to go to, CAL is the way to go.
