Arlington National Cemetery here soldiers from the Army keep watch 24 hours a day. Some kids may be interested in the famous grave sites. Around 285,000 American war dead and Americans are interred on 625 acres. John F. Kennedy is buried near his two children and his wife, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. He is probably the most visited grave in the country. Nearby is his brother, Robert William Howard Taft, Joe Louis, Lee Marvin is here here. I found it interesting that there is a memorial to the Space Shuttle Challenger. There is absolutely no food or drinks allowed in the cemetery and this is free and open to the public. You might want to call first to check the hours. more
