We recently shopped at Lowe's for blinds and found that they had a neat system in which you selected a blind style, they they cut them to size for your window right there in the store while you waited. The system was kind of clunky for the employees to use but we were able to buy one for a small window and walk out within about 1/2 an hour. We typically buy home improvement items like DeWalt tools, closet poles and wooden brackets and wood and garden supplies. They have an employee at the door who will point you in the right direction and most will also help your find the item you want. Check out is usually pretty quick.
