The Schoolfield Lunch opened , from what I understand, in 1923, and has severed Lunch to DanRiver Mill workers, and too any other people that walked in ever sense, they have a great, inexpensive lunch, which is vary affordable,and it is always good ... and that is what the Schoolfield Lunch is. when I want an good inexpensive lunch, that is where I go. Also it is where most of the mill workers have gone for the past 80 some years.
