The Sunrise is a nice little hometown place in the center of Whiting, with an enormous menu. Nothing fancy, but everything is good, the portions are generous and the value excellent (I just love their meat loaf.) They have a very friendly, very attentive wait staff, and a genuinely un-smokey non-smoking place (which I always appreciate.) The Sunrise is also a great place for breakfasts, anytime! (Excellent omelets)
