Otherwise known as the G-man. My favorite thing here is the Reuben sandwich. Being that it was the first place I ever tried one, this is now my Reuben touchstone. This bar/restaurant has perfected them, and a side of beer batter fries makes this a staple. Also try the fries topped with cheese. That's a meal in and of itself. They have plenty of other great entrées though, and the tomato soup is great when they have it.
The establishment's decor is reason enough to stop in with the ornate bar area, all the woodwork, and the tin ceilings. It has an old saloon ambiance. Complete with smoke and entertainment in the evenings (local bands, open mic nite, etc) It can get rowdy at night, but the day time crowd is pretty low-key, mostly focused on the food.
