It was busy when we arrived at this little, quaintly decorated restaurant in the Fort Greene area. I had read a review on it that said service was slow and expect to wait forever for a table. We elected to wait for 1st available rather than outside, and sit at the bar. No sooner had I finished my freshly squeezed OJ, than our name was called for a table. The wait staff was pleasant, and although it seemed like we had one main server, others checked on us throughout the meal.
I highly recommend the pancakes with brie and berries, as well as the Mexican breakfast lasagna(vegetarian). One of the other members in the party had the steak and eggs, which I didn't try, but they finished it in record time. The server brought us our check and refilled the drinks, then we were off. Maybe we got lucky but it wasn't too slow, and the staff was attentive enough.
To know before you go: it's cash only, the prices seemed average-- about 15$ish for my meal w/ drink, the atmosphere is casual, and you might want to avoid snacking before you go.
