Owosso Middle School was attended by all three of my teenage children. It is right down town in Owosso on along the river. It is a large three story building that was originally built as the high school. The school has an attendance of approximately 600 students. The crime rate is very low. The choir teacher has over 30 years experience and was a music teacher of the year. She is excellent. the band program is one of the best in the state. They offer a large variety of sports and other extracurricular activities. I have one student who was in the special education program and all the staff working in that department are excellent. Another student of mine was in the honors program and that is an excellent program as well. This is a place your child can feel safe and still get an excellent education.
