They started off rocky when the crew arrived over an hour late (and I was the 1st move in the morning). That wouldn't have been such a big deal except that when they billed me, they said their start time was a half hour before they arrived... Within 30 min of arriving at our apt, one of the movers went and sat in my bathroom for almost half an hour. I couldn't go in afterwards to pack up my stuff it smelled so bad. Then the whole crew walked off the job for 15-20 minutes because I complained about the guy in the bathroom. When we got to our new apt, the driver parked the truck a good 1/4 - 1/2 mile down the block and the crew walked everything up and down the street (it was a nice, sunny, warm autumn day...). They did this until I spoke to the lead of the crew and then they drove around parked in front of the building. Ridiculous. Anyway, they damaged the wood on several picture frames even though they used their special picture boxes. We have moved 3 times in nyc, and this crew was the worst in the city.
