The only thing that keeps me from giving SCC a perfect rating is the lack of available parking. If you have class at say, 8am, you MUST get there no later than 7am to ensure a parking space within a mile of the building.
If you're not so lucky, you'll either spend an hour driving around the lot hoping for a space, or you'll be relegated to parking out in the dirt pit behind the automotive department. Not fun when it's been raining for 4 months and the 'pit' is more of a 'lake'
That being said, the professors and staff are helpful and instructive. If you're taking prerequisites for the nursing program, be prepared to be pushed hard and far and most of your teachers will give you exams that make you ask yourself "Am I taking an exam for the right class?"
The nursing program is very competitive. Unless you have a 4.0 AND years of experience as a CNA or EMT, don't even try to apply. it'll be a tremendous waste of your time and money.
