Mastel’s is stocked from floor to ceiling with supplements and vitamins. If you are looking for an alternative remedy or a comprehensive vitamin, head to Saint Clair and Snelling. Some of the staff, particularly the manager, really know their supplements. Mastels makes the supplement aisle at Whole Foods look like the health food section at 7 eleven, and the prices are completive.
In addition to supplements, Mastel’s stocks select honeys, juices, and food stuffs. If you’re thirsty, Mastell’s also features a well-stocked cooler (including my favorite, Virgil’s root beer). One of the most compelling features of Mastell’s is its ambience. Who knew a health food store could have ambience, but there is something irresistible about Mastells creaky floors and hand made wooden shelves.
