In Hartford, Connecticut, is a historic carousel that offers rides at just 50 cents. The horses are hand carved, and only three such carousels exist anymore. The antique merry-go-round features jumper horses, chariots and a band organ, (they make the old time tinkling carousel music) It is available to the public every day but Monday and can be rented for private occasions after hours.
